I am a Mother of two beautiful daughters who graduated from Newberry and am proud that Newberry has prepared them for life.  I have been in the Education Field for more than 30 Years; I’ve work with children from birth to 12 Years of age. I enjoy working with children and their parents. I love teaching children life skills, helping them problem solve and most of all empowering them, letting them know that I believe in them and that they can achieve anything that they put their minds to. I hold a Certificate in Child Development from DePaul University in Chicago and have 60 Semester College Credits from Chicago City Colleges.  At Newberry I assist with Transportation, the Special Education Department, Attendance and Office needs, and on occasion have been the Friends of Newberry Auctioneer.  I love working for Newberry during the school year and working for the Chicago Park District in the summer.  My proudest moments in life are when my former students come to register their children at Newberry; and revisiting the past.  Lastly, I love to make people laugh and enjoy making the lives of children fun.
