Newberry Academy: We're All Over the Map!

SUNDAY, APRIL 6th, 2008 AT Scoozi Restaurant.

One of a Kind Classroom Projects
Your child's class will be creating an artistic project for the auction portion of the Benefit. These handmade projects are often the most irresistible bestsellers of the event. Speak with your child's teacher about your ideas and offer to help coordinate or design their project. The teachers may have begun to think about their classroom projects, and will certainly welcome your help.

Item Donations
Solicit Donations for the auction. What would you like the opportunity to bid on at the auction? Have you purchased any memorable items at previous fundraisers? Do you frequent any businesses that may be interested in donating? Approaching businesses you patronize is the MOST SUCCESSFUL way to obtain great items for the auction. Donation forms and cover letters are available for download and are listed below. Feel free to make copies of these forms.

The Spring Benefit is a wonderful way to meet other Newberry families and strengthen our school's community.

To make this year's event a greater success, we need your help! Whether you would like to be part of the planning committee, have a great contact or two for donations, are willing to help your child’s class with their classroom project, or simply want to contribute by buying a raffle ticket or two … please let us know! Benefit Committee meetings will be held at 6:30pm on the 1st Tuesday of each month. See the calendar on this site for exact dates of upcoming meetings.
