Battle of the Books

We are proud to announce that Newberry came in 1st Place at the citywide Battle of the Books competition. The battle started with 190 teams, and after a preliminary competition in May, the top 30 teams were determined and went to compete at Medill Training Center on Saturday, June 4, 2011. After a morning of answering questions about the 21 books read by teams all over the city, Newberry came out on top! Congrats Newberry B.O.B Team!
